Profile portraits come in many different forms and this one is no different—or is it? One day, I was walking about in a forest with my camera, ready to capture whatever came my way. Suddenly, I came across this duck. I slowly raised my camera up to my face so that I could capture some exposures of it. As I looked through the viewfinder, I was amazed at what seemed to be a deliberate act on the part of the duck. As it noticed my presence, it turned its body to this position and remained very still for what seemed like several minutes. After it sensed that I had gotten my feel of captures, it proceeded to move about as it had before I came on the scene. I am convinced that the duck wanted to make sure that my captures were of its "Good Side".

Over the years, I have explored many different genres of photography. Throughout my explorations, I have remained true to what ignited my passion for photography, more than two decades ago. That passion is my love for nature, landscape, seascape, travel and other scenic style photography. Having also explored graphic artistry for many years, I strive to take advantage of each opportunity to combine these two creative forums as a means to more fully explore my creative vision.
